Welcome to the 1st Rajamangala Surin International Conference (1st RSIC). The conference will be held at Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Surin Campus, Surin Province, Thailand, on 29- 31 August 2018. It is an international platform for scholars,researchers, and graduate students to exchange and share their knowledge, new ideas and research results about all aspects of agriculture sciences & technology, humanities &social sciences and business research and more.

About the Conference

The 1st Rajamangala Surin International Conference (1st RSIC) is an international platform for scholars, researchers, and graduate students to exchange and share their knowledge, new ideas and research results about all aspects in the fields of agriculture sciences & technology, humanities & social sciences, and business research. It aims to encourage inter-professional collaboration through research.

Contributors are welcome to submit full-length papers and/or abstracts. Manuscripts must be submitted online through the conference management system. All manuscripts will go through a double-blind peer review process and registered authors’ manuscripts will be published in proceedings.

Requirements for manuscript preparation


Code of Conduct:
Contributors must confirm that manuscripts are UNPUBLISHED and NOT under review anywhere else.
Language:
Contributors MUST prepare their manuscripts in English. American or British style is acceptable, but contributors should use one consistently throughout.
Manuscript format:
Please download manuscript template for full-paper or abstract to prepare your manuscripts. Contributors who fail to prepare manuscripts in accordance with our “Requirements for manuscript preparation” will be asked to revise and re-submit their manuscripts. *We reserve the rights to make necessary adjustments to typesetting of manuscript to maintain the quality of proceedings.
File format:
Contributors are required to submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word. Manuscripts submitted in any format other than Microsoft Word will NOT be considered. If contributors have problem providing manuscripts in the required file format, please email us.

If the registration fee is made from abroad, the payment must be made in USD (US Dollars).

Registration

1. Only registered authors’ manuscripts will be included in the proceedings.
2. If your submission is multi-authored and additional authors would like to attend the conference, each additional participant has to register and pay the registration fee separately.
3. Every registered participant will receive a copy of conference abstracts in printed format and full text papers in a USB format, admission to all conference sessions, coffee breaks, and lunch for two days.

Guidelines for Presenters

The following guidelines will help you design and prepare your Presentation.

Oral Presenters:

1. You are kindly expected to check the Conference Schedule and be clear about the exact date, time, and room of the session that you are presenting.
2. Please be available in your designated room at least 10 minutes before your session.
3. The time for each presentation is 20 minutes and will have another 5 minutes for questions and answers.
4. Each meeting rooms is equipped with a projector and a desktop computer (Windows operating system with MS PowerPoint & Adobe Acrobat Reader). Make sure that your files are compatible with PowerPoint or PDF format. Use a USB flash drive to transfer your files to the laptop. You should copy your files to the computer before your sessions.

Poster Presenters:

1. Your poster should include (1) a title, (2) an abstract, and (3) authors’ names and affiliations.
2. Limit the size of your poster within 120 cm (Height) × 80 cm (Width).
3. Set up your poster 10 minutes before your poster session.

Conference Venue

About Surin

Surin is a province with a long historical background.  It takes about 457 km from Bangkok by car.  At present, there are 13 district – Mueang, Chumphonburi, Tha Toom, Jom Phra, Phrasart, Karb Chaoeng, Rattanaburi, Sanom, Srikhornraphoom, Sang Kha, Lum Duan, Bua Ched, and Samrong Tarb.

Attractions

City Pillar Shrine : it is a respectable place in Surin.  Formerly, there was just a shrine not the pillar for over 100 years, later the place was redesigned by the Fine Arts Department, and the 3-meter-high wooden pillar of Java Cassia was placed in the shrine.

Huai Saneng : it is a reservoir of the Surin Irrigation Project.  Above the reservoir is a long road where people can take a relaxing walk.

Luang Phor Phra Chee in Wat Burapharam : a sacred Buddha image in the posture of subduing Mara which is highly respected and worshipped by Surin people.

Tradition and Festival

Surin is known as a city of elephants because in the past, elephants were the main vehicles of Surin people.  Later, in the middle of November of every year, there is a festival  of elephant’s performances that people can join the event and watch the shows.

Shopping

The popular local products are silk, cotton cloth, wickerwork, silverware, carved ivory, preserved radish, white pork sausages, grilled pork, and pork floss.
